汪国平,北京大学博雅特聘教授,从事计算机图形学和虚拟仿真等研究,1997年6月获得复旦大学理学博士学位,2002年8月受聘北京大学信息学院教授,现任青龙湖实验室常务副主任兼北大区负责人、北京大学北京市虚拟仿真与可视化工程中心主任、北大图形与交互技术实验室主任。主持研发了特征驱动的三维自适应离散造型设计与优化系统PUM、物理仿真引擎Physika、分布式虚拟仿真支撑平台ViWo、基于图像的三维重建系统i23D、虚实融合系统VVF等大型软件系统,在工程设计和数字城市等行业领域有良好应用。曾获教育部科技进步一等奖、CCF科技成果奖技术发明一等奖、中国图像图形学会科技进步奖等,2009年获得国家杰出青年基金资助,2010年获国务院政府特殊津贴,2020年获得中国计算机图形学杰出奖,发表学术论文300余篇,国家发明专利50余项,多项专利获得商业转让。
兼任中国图象图形学会副理事长,中国图学学会副理事长,图学学报主编和VR&IH副主编等,曾任中国计算机学会CADCG专委会主任、CSIAM GDC专委会主任、科技委智能领域专家、深圳快响小组成员、装发指控专业组专家等。
Guoping Wang, Endowed Boya Professor of Peking University, engaged in research on computer graphics and virtual simulation, doctor of science degree from Fudan University in June 1997. Appointed as a professor at the school of electronics engineering and computer science Peking University in August 2002. At present, he is the executive deputy director of the Qinglonghu Laboratory, the leader of regional of Peking University of the Qinglonghu Laboratory, the director of Beijing Engineering Research Center of virtual simulation and visualization in Peking University. He is take charge of the research and development in the feature driven 3D discrete modeling design and optimization system pum, physical simulation engine physika, distributed virtual simulation support platform viwo, image-based 3D reconstruction system i23d, VVF, a Mixed Reality (MR) System and the other large software systems, which have good applications in the National Defense and military affairs, the engineering design, the Digital city and the other industries. He awarded the Ministry of Education of science and technology progress award, the First Prize of CCF Technology Achievement Award for Technological Invention, Science and Technology Progress Award of the China Society of Image and Graphics, etc., obtained the national outstanding youth fund in 2009, the State Council special government allowances in 2010, received awards for excellence in computer graphics in China in 2020, published more than 200 papers, more than 50 national invention patents, patents for business transfer.
Currently, he is serving as the Vice president of Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, Vice president of Chinese Graphic Society, Editor in Chief of Journal of Graphics and Deputy Editor in Chief of VR&IH.
Formerly served as the Director of CADCG Special Committee of Chinese Computer Society, Director of CSIAM GDC Special Committee, Director of Chinese Computer Society, Experts in the field of intelligence, members of the Shenzhen Quick Response Group, and experts in the Equipment Development Command and Control Professional Group.
