There is one project (mandatory) (and several optional assignments ) for the course.

 

The requirement for the assignments (optional ):

Each assignment must be performed individually.

The source code with necessary comments is mandatory.

The executable program together with all support lib files and resource files are mandatory.

Submit a document containing the user guide and a brief description about the key techniques (about 1 page).

 

 

The requirement for the project (Mandatory for Autumn2008 graduated course)

A.      Study 1-3 related papers carefully;

B.      Complete a review/survey of a given topic. Put forward your own opinion and solution. Submit a technical report(no shorter than 10 pages);

C.      A list of at least 5 references with actual citations;

D.      Implementation and demo are mandatory;A 30-minute presentation at the course is scheduled for each student;

E.      You are free to choose a topic related to your research interests in case of a confirmation by the instructor;

F.     The project must be completed individualy.
